Resumo
Este trabalho apresenta discussões iniciais acerca da circulação de sentidos sobre Direitos Humanos no contexto da midiatização. Entendemos Direitos Humanos como uma temática que transita por diferentes campos, sendo apropriada de modos distintos em cada um deles. Buscamos investigar a circulação de sentidos sobre essa temática considerando as dinâmicas de atravessamentos constituídos na nova ambiência da midiatização permeada pela intensa relação entre os discursos simbólicos da sociedade e os discursos midiáticos (FAXINA & GOMES, 2016). Partimos da premissa de que os discursos midiatizados sobre direitos humanos produzem inteligibilidades e sentidos socialmente aceitos e/ou rechaçados em torno desta questão. Na tentativa de compreender as relações complexas que se estabelecem em decorrência do processo de midiatização, propomos um trabalho com foco na circulação, uma vez que esta se constitui como elemento central do processo comunicacional na atualidade (FAUSTO NETO, 2010). Pensar sobre Direitos Humanos no contexto da midiatização remete à problematização de questões e discursos que estão dispersos no tecido social e que circulam de modo peculiar. Embora haja uma ampliação dos espaços de interação midiatizada (BRAGA, 2015) com a emergência das redes sociais, além da possibilidade de criação de diferentes plataformas comunicacionais na internet, é perceptível que discussões sobre Direitos Humanos permanecem ainda, em grande medida restritas a grupos específicos; no entanto, há casos em que tais discussões extrapolam os limites dessa zona habitual de circulação, gerando a conformação de novos circuitos discursivos tanto na mídia hegemônica quanto entre os atores sociais em redes digitais. São esses os casos de interesse desta pesquisa.
Abstract
This work presents initial discussions about the circulation of meanings about Human Rights in the context of mediatization. We understand Human Rights as a theme that moves through different fields, being appropriated in different ways in each of them. We seek to investigate the circulation of meanings on this theme considering the dynamics of crossings constituted in the new ambience of mediatization permeated by the intense relationship between the symbolic discourses of society and the media discourses (FAXINA & GOMES, 2016). We start from the premise that mediatized speeches on human rights produce intelligibilities and meanings that are socially accepted and/or rejected around this issue. In an attempt to understand the complex relationships that are established as a result of the mediatization process, we propose a work focusing on circulation, since it is a central element of the communication process today (FAUSTO NETO, 2010). Thinking about Human Rights in the context of mediatization refers to the problematization of issues and discourses that are dispersed in the social fabric and that circulate in a peculiar way. Although there is an expansion of spaces for mediatized interaction (BRAGA, 2015) with the emergence of social networks, in addition to the possibility of creating different communication platforms on the internet, it is noticeable that discussions on Human Rights still remain, to a large extent restricted to specific groups; however, there are cases in which such discussions go beyond the limits of this usual circulation zone, generating the formation of new discursive circuits both in the hegemonic media and among social actors in digital networks. These are the cases of interest for this research.
