O objetivo desse estudo é apresentar os principais fluxos de comunicação existentes nos territórios da cidadania do Vale do Juruá, de Capixaba e do Alto e Baixo Acre, no estado do Acre, Brasil. A pesquisa foi realizada em dezembro de 2018, no âmbito do projeto “Interação, intercâmbio e construção do conhecimento e comunicação nos projetos do Fundo Amazônia – Amazocom”, que busca articular ações com foco nas estratégicas de comunicação, transferência de tecnologia, intercâmbio e construção de conhecimentos para atendimento de ações de outros projetos Integrados da Amazônia. Mesmo com as facilidades de comunicação oferecidas pelas tecnologias digitais que proporcionam amplo acesso à informação, é fundamental investigar como ocorre a troca de informações, conhecimentos e tecnologias na interação entre agricultores e extrativistas da região Amazônica e profissionais de diversas instituições que atuam no universo da extensão rural, ensino e pesquisa. O resultado das 39 entrevistas, aplicadas por meio de formulários estruturados, com extrativistas e agricultores familiares de sete municípios do Acre mostrou uma diversidade de aspectos comunicacionais nesses territórios amazônicos. Há quem viva em total isolamento, distante dos centros urbanos, onde o rádio ainda é bastante utilizado. Em outras localidades, moradores possuem televisão e utilizam dispositivos móveis para se comunicar. A pesquisa também revelou grande potencial de jovens agricultores e extrativistas no processo de comunicação. Eles dominam a tecnologia móvel no espaço da família, mesmo em localidades onde o uso do equipamento é restrito devido à falta de acesso à internet, o que ocorre em boa parte das comunidades que vivem na floresta amazônica.
Abstract
The objective of this study was to better understand the main communication flows existing in the “citizenship territories” of Juruá river valley, Capixaba and High Acre, in the state of Acre, Brazil. The survey was carried out in December 2018, as part of the project “Interaction, exchange and construction of knowledge and communication in the projects of the Amazon Fund - Amazocom”, that seeks to articulate actions focused on communication strategies, technology transference, exchange and knowledge building to support the actions of other Integrated Amazon projects. Even with the communication easiness offered by digital technologies that provide broad access to information, it is essential to investigate how the exchange of information, knowledge and technologies occurs in the interaction between farmers and extractivists in Amazon region, and professionals from several institutions operating in the rural extension universe, education and research. The result of the 39 interviews with extractivists and farmers families from seven municipalities of Acre showed a diversity of communication aspects in these Amazonian territories. There are those who live in total isolation, far from urban centers, and radio is still the main information source. In other locations, there are residents who have television and often use mobile devices to establish communication. The survey also revealed great potential for young farmers and extractivists in the communication process. They dominate mobile technology in the family space, even in locations where equipment use is restricted due to lack of Internet access, such as in most communities living in the Amazon rainforest
